Hylomar H motor liquid gasket

HYLOMAR H 80ml is a high-temperature, flexible sealant, the so-called engineering grade liquid sealant for metal and plastic surfaces. It can be used to seal motors, including ebike motors as a liquid gasket.

Contrary to other compounds and silicones, after opening it does not dry out and it does not solidify in the tube. It can be corked and reused even after a few months and can still lie in place. HYLOMAR H creates a seal six times better than the M series.

High performance. Stable operating temperature range -50 ° C to 250 ° C (temporarily up to 300 ° C).

Silicone has a short curing time of 2-15 minutes, which means that installation must be hurried, while HYLOMAR H has no restrictions. As it is in the form of a gel, it does not dry out and even sets after a few hours, so you can fold and adjust your joints at any time. It can also be used on vertical surfaces, as in this position it will not run off or fall off. The excess sealant pressed out between the sealing surfaces during assembly is hydraulically reduced, which significantly reduces the risk of blocking the oil channels. The old HYLOMAR H sealant can be easily removed by simply washing it off with a cloth soaked in acetone.

Directions for use:

The surfaces to be sealed should be clean, dry and degreased. Apply the agent in a thin and even layer on both surfaces to be sealed. Wait approx. 10 minutes for the solvent to evaporate, then assemble and screw together. Retighten the screws after a few minutes. When sealing flat, ground surfaces, it is enough to apply the agent to one of the surfaces. Hylomar is a long-lasting plastic agent, therefore, after its application, there is no need to hurry in the assembly of components.
When disassembling components, Hylomar H can be removed with a cloth soaked in acetone.
It is not necessary to scrape it off.
